I have a 99 model 75 series with 480K on the clock
It used to be turbocharged but 2 owners ago removed the turbo as it was overheating. Previous owner to me replaced the head and it runs like a dream now. Unfortunately other mods include a stupid looking bonnet scoop which they totally butchered the bonnet when fitted, 3 in homemade exhaust by the look, 2" cab/body lift and a frankenstein tray. All of this will be rectified over time. I also need to mention that whoever had been doing the wiring on this thing should never have been allowed to touch tools. EVER.
At this point my plan is to tidy it up starting with the wiring, I'll take out the body lift and replace the exhaust back to standard. Small oil leaks around the power steer pump and rear main at which time I'll replace the clutch as well. It will be mainly a dump ute So I'll keep an eye out for another tray that I can use sideboards and tailgate with. Ill also reenforce the bonnet and remove the stupid looking scoop that's there. We'll go up to Cathu in it occasionally looking for the elusive waterfalls there which is a very interesting track to use after weather
