Jeep disassemble / reassemble

That's exactly what they were designed and built for and why they look the way they do , it was a great idea given the life expectancy of any transport was 2 weeks in the WWII warzone . Landrover looks sort of similar because it copied the idea of the less bolts the better for a quick fix . Armies throughout the world continue to use vehicles built on the same principal today . Compare a military spec Hummer to a civilian one , the majority of nuts bolts and screws on the army truck can been seen at a glance when every effort has been made to hide the same in otherwise identical civvy trucks .

Some bits a clearly missing, like brakes and fuel tank...

They do this with tractors over here. It's impressive to look at, but from an engineering standpoint, it's not rebuilding. All the nuts are pre-loosened, fuel lines have quick releases, not to mention oil being non-existent.. The jeep or tractor is not in serviceable condition either before or after the build. But as a spectacle... It's a bit of harmless fun.
