trials course in the afternoon
luckily i went the wrong way and missed the 'pit'
tractor towing out on one side,JCB on the other
only one guy made it unaided in the Patrol in the pic

good day out

why'd you sell your LC5 mate?

looked like you'd taken it to another level, then sold it

is the 80 the way forward for you then?

cheers

I get the feeling your contemplating trading in your 120 for an 80 TP ?????????????????

keeping the 120 as my daily drive, before i destroy it

been looking for an 80 to lovingly restore, then destroy of course...;)

Without intending to cause some kind of riot on here, IMHO, the Trols are some of the few trucks that compare with or exceed the capabilities of Land Cruisers, particularly 80s.

They also look the part and mod in a similar way to the 80 and always seem to perform well in extreme trials. Tough trucks they are, with maybe some "time bomb" concerns on the engines (if I've recalled the correct phrase).

Yep, great photos there, thanks for posting

Clive, can I have your truck when you gone? The villagers are coming....

I guess it won't matter who has it, so maybe yes

Probably walked into a bog-hole of my own with that one Cris!

I might have got away with the "compare", but the "exceed" may take a bit of swallowing

Still, we should stay realists, despite how passionate we are. BTW, how's the Volvo doing? :eusa-shhh:

It's exciting yet bland. :(

Bored already, want a LC again.

I can see why Jon went to the Audi and then back to LC...

when you go to a meet of 100 jeeps here, normally 50% are Patrols
the locals love 'em

then 40% LCruisers of all ages

then Vitaras etc

never many LRovers, they call 'em... 'ITS OVER'...;)
