Karpaten Niva tour 2013. Part II

Like i told, want present the pictures from oure second group.
With this group we have soo much technikal problems. First tree days from all 7 days vas only car servicing. And it was soo hard for me. I wery waryied about the fealings of members of tour. Somebody maded 1 000 - 1 500 km from Germany for see some nice nature ;andscape. But they got only car servicing. With first group ewrything run perfeckt! But second... Only in the 4-s day we start run normally on the nice areas. Like i told, it was difficult, but this problems made us stronger. And toghether we run oure all problems. And next days vas ewrything perfect!

Sorry about the break-downs in the first 4 days, that must have been very frustrating for all.

I liked the hailstone (ice rain) pics, that must have caused a lot of wash out on the track.

It's always depressing to see gear/diff parts and half-shafts out on a trip, major mechanical problems there.

Well done anyway, you all survived!

Mines game it's just our daughter who would be 2 and a few months we are concerned about.

It's one thing traveling with a child when there are others of similar age but if she is one her own its not fair on others or her.

But we think we could maybe fly her and mom in and I drive down and then maybe fly her back depending.

Mine's 5 but I don't know how her and her mum would fair over a whole week offroad... Kids are great actually, they seem to adapt to anything, but mum's not quite so tolerant!

We'll see.

The leading edge looks as though it may be hinged, perhaps it lifts up from the back to make a triangle? Great pics Romi, looks an interesting tour.

The scenery is (not surprisingly) so similar to rural Romania. That's a complement by the way, IMO!

The way of life, the enthusiasm of the local kids, the landscape, everything (except the language of the signs) is almost interchangeable with similar circumstances in Romania.

The tracks look very interesting, from easy to bloody difficult according to the photos! What a challenge for man and machine

My problem in Romania is discovering the best tracks, the same applies everywhere I suppose. However, it seems that Romi has this cracked in the southern part of the Ukraine, one of the advantages of joining an organized tour. I'm very interested to have a go at this, must talk more with the missus

The ice rain was wery strong! And we vas soo lucki, thet we meet thiss ice rain in the forest. On the toop of the mountien it will be so danger!
When was broken the diff, all cars have problems. I feel doun and damaged the finger on my feet. Finger can not move, was black. I can not goo. I thought that its finish... But i dont have time think about pain. I needed help for tree cars which was broken on top of mountie. I call my frend, he send me with bus new diif and other smaller parts for other cars. Some cars continye up hill, and broken folow me to camp place. After we serviced cars. Most work i doit buyself. No time for eat. Was hard and difficult. But i like it. And now have good memoirs

It hand made construction, but wery strong. They open from the end off car.

Yes, we have wery same countryside and culture. And distance is not soo big. I realy planed in not far future wisit Rumanian mountiens. And will tell you when will be ready for this.

Sure Romi, It would be great to see you, but I can't offer anything as wonderful as your trip, simply because I don't know my way around well enough. Tracks like yours are here, I just have to find them!
