Hi team,
Just looking for some shared knowledge on a steering issue with my KZJ78.
I've changed all of the track rod ends, serviced the swivel hubs, set the correct pre-load etc. changed the Panhard and other bushes and fitted a new steering damper. The KZJ78 has a 2 inch lift and 32 inch tyres, castor correction bushes fitted etc. Last, I had the tracking checked and set correctly a few weeks ago.
To me the steering still feels a bit vague at over 70kph though. As someone on another group described, 'like driving in wind, with constant correcting needed'
Someone recommended setting the Toe In from Zero to a few Millimetres, this apparently helps, so that's probably the next job.
If the above doesn't improve things, I guess the only other item is the steering box?
Any wisdom appreciated.
