Kzj90 transfer case issue

Hi everyone. Bit desperate here.
Have asked in a few groups but hopefully there’s someone out there with an answer.
I have a transfer box that I need to fit to my 90.
The selector fork rod seems to be sticking out too far and I can’t get it to go back in.
Any ideas how I can get it in?
I’m a bit stuffed and really need to get it fitted.

I'm no expert on this, you probably need Bob Murphy. Have a look at this thread where he refers to the shaft being pulled out too far

If it's not that have a look at some other threads of Bob's; he'll probably pass by here at some point with a bit of luck

Well I’m sorry to hear you’re in hospital Bob. Hope all turns out well.
Thanks to MODVRS I have found your post and it was a case of rods being pulled too far out. Can thank customs and border force for that.
All fixed and fitted now.
