Light stock

My full beam hasn't been working for a while now and I'm pretty sure its the switch ion the bottom of the stock. Does anyone know if these are a generic toyota part from the mid ninties or if they are specific to the landcruiser. I have an MOT on wed so either I hook it up to a switch or swap it with the one out of my mums rav4

Are you sure it is not the relay under the bonnet? As mine plays sometimes.

Had not checked the relay as when I flick the stock away for full beam it turns all the lights off but then I could get it to work sometimes by flicking the stock towards me really fast. Will check the relay now that you mention it.

I would suggest checking the relays under the bonnet as mine were giving trouble, would not switch off high beam to start with and then would not turn lights on unless I gave the relay a tap.
There are two relays, one for low and one for high.

It wasn't the STALK, it was the REEL A.......contact were worn so bent them out a bit further and its as good as new once again
