LJ70 inclinometer on a HZJ78 dash?

I love the original inclinometer (that was in my 1986 LJ70) and would like to fit one in my 2008 HZJ78. I think the (shape of the dash) is the same and it should fit. Can anyone confirm this?

The top dash pad for the inclinometer has a recess in it to fit the inclinometer into it, where as the non version is flat all along.

The bolts that fix it on can be accessed from the removed glove box and from the radio slot. I believe the fixing holes for the altimeter are already in the top of the dash under the pad.

So you need the altimeter dash top cover to make it look factory.
