Anyone know if these are obtainable in the UK?

A guy in OZ recently paid $7,000AUD for a new one from Toyota.

The new Toyota forklift we have just got at work looks very similar to the 12v from an 80

The Toyota Optima Midi Busses use the 12 valve and I heard a buzz that there are some 24valve.
They are still being built I think so new engines must be available.

In some markets the Land Cruiser is still available with the 12V 1HD-T I seem to remember. Should also be availlable from Toyota in the UK I think but would be a special order and would be a Kings ransom.

Hi Guys.....
Previous owner of my 80 series had a brand spanking new 4.2TD 12valve motor fitted in Paris 3 years ago.
Total bill came in at 8,667 euros

Not in France, but previous owner used to travel between London and Paris for business.
