Howdy.

We have had our 1996 Land Cruiser for about 16 years. It is my wife's and hasn't had any use for about 2 years due to health issues. It's been in storage.

I recently decided to sell my vehicle and use the Land Cruiser as our daily driver. When I went to get it, the baby wouldn't start - BUMMER. I've replaced the battery, fusible links and starter and have not changed the original problem an iota - DOUBLE BUMMER!!

I'm joining the forum in the hopes of learning enough to fix Mom's baby.

Hi Mike,
Do any of the lights come on? Does the engine turn at all?
It looks brand new!

Thanks for your reply.
I fixed the problem, it was a loose wire for an aftermarket alarm system. A wire for the immobilizer was loose/disconnected.
Current problem is air bag light, I haven't researched it, yet.
