Hello,

recently found the forum after some searching for options so just introducing myself.

Name: Brina Thomson
My Cruiser: Land Cruiser 150 2022
Mods: Dune Technology Nudge Bar, Superwinch 9500S, TJM Roamer 50cm Suspension Lift + GVM Upgrade, Kaon Underbody Protection, Ikon Compression Alloys + K02's
Plans: Overlander mainly, some 4x4'ing though that's a bit limited in Switzerland.

Plenty of countries nearby that have less strict rules regarding off roading.

Just back from 2 weeks in the Pyrenees, last year was Sardinia, Croatia & Slovenia.

Lovely! I've been to Sardinia for beach/sailing holidays but never off road touring, is it good?

Sardinia was great. We were part of a group tour via a local Overlanding shop which was good in the sense that we didn't't have to think about navigation and route planning, on the down side our guide drove like he was in Paris-Dakkar so the experience felt a bit rushed. I'd definitely go back, though perhaps involving some more mixed terrain. I think soloing in Corsica beforehand though which I've read is fairly is fairly similar.
