O-2 sensor wiring access (UPDATE)
I am trying to remove my O-2 sensor and cannot get at the wiring connection above the transmission. It looks like there is an access door in front of the gear shift (automatic). Do I need to remove the carpet to get at it, or is there an easier way to do this? Any advice is appreciated. The model # is FJ 62 LG PNE A if that helps.
UPDATE- I now realize that what I thought was an access port is most likely just a knock-out for a standard transmission. sorry if I confused anyone. But the question remains... How do I unplug the wires for the Oxygen sensor? The connection is above the transmission in a very hard to reach spot. I'm hoping someone has changed this out and understands what I am talking about.
