Our neighbor once had a phase of breeding "domestic" rabbits, which was great because one of them always preferred to be on our side of the fence. It was a big soft grey thing, that my (then 3 yr old) daughter fell in love with.
They would play together for hours, till one Friday we arrived to utter carnage. One of the local dogs (nobody ever knows who they or if they belong to anyone) decided to tear it to bits, all over our garden
