So, my ABS ring saga continues and the clever MOT testers realise there are no ABS rings on my CVs and know what the tricks are to hide it, so my only option is to fit some. Typically, I can't find new ones, so if anyone has some old CVs knocking around that they could send me rings off, I'd be really grateful (And pay for of course )

Pretty sure you can buy ABS rings.... stock of them is probably an issue though like most things at the moment

Checked the usual aftermarket suppliers and they aren't listed

I can't find it now but theres been several posts recently regarding ABS and one of them there was a link to current mot rules stating pre 2010 vehicles cannot be tested for abs "if all components are removed , minus sensors as they are an integral part of other components"

So perhaps you can look at removing something more rather than replacing parts ?

1. Brakes - MOT inspection manual: cars and passenger vehicles - Guidance - GOV.UK - [Leaving Land Cruiser Club]

You must inspect any ABS systems fitted.
When testing ABS equipped vehicles, the road wheels that are lifted off the ground should not be allowed to rotate when the ignition is on. This can cause the ABS system to indicate a fault which may require specialist equipment to rectify.
If the ABS has been intentionally rendered inoperative, the whole system must be removed. This does not apply to sensor rings or other ABS components which are an integral part of another component, such as a brake disc or drive shaft.
It’s not permissible to remove or disable the ABS from a vehicle first used on or after 1 January 2010. Not all vehicles first used on or after 1 January 2010 will have ABS, so the failure only applies where the system has obviously been removed.

Not listed, but might be worth a ring:
Thx. Good link. I got in touch and they could help but need to know the number of teeth and diameter of the CV it has to be pressed onto. I donot have an example to measure, can anyone help with these two values ?

Yes, I considered that, but it seemed easier to put rings on than remove the abs pump / modulator and replumb.
