Yep that is the depth that I filled too but I used 10000 cst which is a bit thicker so that may be the reason. I did a lot of reserch and it was a toss up between 7000cst or 10000 cst and it was just the 10000 figure was used more than the 7000 so I plumped for 10000cst.
Yes mine is AT and as John has said this does put extra heat into the system and needs to be disapated along with the engine heat. Also John and I had a talk a while back and we reacon that as we both have full under body protection on our trucks that this also creates a problem with moving the air through the engine bay. John has fitted an extra fan and exit point into his bonnet and when we manage to be in the same place at the same time I will be taking a look and will probably do the same to mine.
But having said that mine is no longer over heating so I think that the fan is the key to alot our over heating problems.
