After having another sprinkling of the white wintery stuff, about 15cm of it, we ventured to Azuga, one of the local ski resorts, for my 6 yo daughter to get a bit more practice in.

Sadly, the place was closed at 12:30 on Saturday, when we arrived somewhat later than our usual 09:30, car park full. Not being into a 3km hike with all the ski tackle, we ventured on to the next resort, Predeal.

Same story, but the marshall on the gate suggested as we were a 4x4, we might just squeeze in somewhere. Never one to turn down a challenge, we ventured up the 3 kms of hill right to the top car park. No spaces on the way, so it was shoot or bust.

Aura reccied ahead, and found a space, sort of, it's where they had dozed some snow from off the car park.

In I went without hesitation, aren't these trucks just the business?

Even without bump stops, no catching of the arches or chassis rubbing.... Front

Or Rear...

I think some passers by thought I was insane, but there were a fair few that stopped, admiring the truck, and it's ability!

And a 2 good days were had on the slopes there, this weekend.

Plenty of scenery shots, but not really cruiser related...

Brilliant, did the very same thing once, at work they 'doze car park snow into heaps, so as I was late I had to park on top. It was a Land Rover, but The KM2s got me off OK.

Yep, these are old GGATs, but they grip snow, ice and slush pretty well. It went up and down that pile without a fuss, locked up of course.

Like it. One of the many great things about owning a 4x4

Did similar few years back when had the isuzu at asda lol. That got some funny looks (had some serious flex) they'd piled the snow up in the parent and child spaces and we had a young lily with us so rude not to, drove the drivers side up, made getting a baby out of a lifted truck quite easy lol.

I can only dream of such things[emoji25] with truck in bits and no snow, even though it tried, 'cos its in bits! Great photos and could almost feel the fun of doing that. [emoji4]
