Hi Guys
I was in Toyota today again looking for bits. I was there last week aswell and as I said I never got that promisted phone call from them.
Anyway he could not find the fuel filter in the tank in his diagram never mind a part No.
This was also the case for the bump stops on the rear. He could not find them on hid diagram so could not get a part No.
He said he phoned Toyota head office.
Does anyone have these NOs so I can stick it to him.
Thanks

Hi John,
I think it is part number 77023-60010 for your vehicle - this is the
filter sub assembly for the fuel suction tube in the tank.
If you could email over a photo of the broken one I could confirm it.

Hi Julian
Thanks for your interest. When I cleaned it and it fell in two pieces I
super glued it back together and put it back in there. I have tried to get a
replacement but Toyota seem a bit thick to put it mildly about this. When I
did put it back I asked the list how long diesel would take to desolve the
super glue, now holding the filter tohether . But then the filter was held
together by some sort of glue to begin with. Now im thinking about it again
Damm Damm Damm. I really dont want to take it all apart again but if I have
to ill take some pics.

Hi John,
Do check out with Toyota to find out if they can get the part - I have always
been suspiscious of super glue - it may stick stuff quickly, but I've never
found that it has lasted particularly well particularly if it gets wet.
When you go to Toyota with the part number I gave you, do get them to bring it
up on screen so that you check to see what it looks like.

Hi Julian
Been to Toyota and the part 'No' did more than what they seem to be able to
acomplish on their system.. It did not give a photo of the parts so I
ordered what appears to be the fuel filter element, we shall see. He still
cant get any info on the bump stops so i can compare them to the price
Milners want for theres plus postage..
