Some thick canvas / burlap bags, some truck innertubes, not as pretty, probably not as functional but likely to be heading in right direction. A tad less pricey too.
Could have used them last week to save me about 3 miles of backtracking to get 4 metres forwards.
I read a review of those along with other traction aides in one of my magazines recently but I can't find it now! Might have be OJ. Anyway, I don't think they were all that impressed but my memory is not always reliable!
Found the OJ review, they were not at all impressed with those. Paraphrasing, some of the grip strips got ripped off and they tended to get thrown out from under the wheels rather than the truck moving. They liked the Mantec bridging ladders best, quite liked the waffle boards, quite liked the Mantec psp tracks, there were some others I can't remember!
