powder coating in the north west

Want to get the wheels re powdercoated on SWMBO's car ..
Can anyone recomend somebody to do the job in the north west .
They will need acid dipping / sand blasting first.

Gav had a place in the NW that did a good job and they only charged 15 quid per wheel!!

Not sure who/where but do a search and I'm sure you'll find a reference to them.

Chicago Coatings in Ashton under Lynn - I'll have to dig their details out but they do come up on the search engines... Mark or Roy

They do a great job but can't/don't do metallic finishes; they shot blast on site

£15 a piece for 16" rims

but they will be able to blast and then powdercoat in white ?

Ian Roobee had some done in white & was happy with the results.

I have always chosen a colour that is available in Rustoleum rattle cans in case touching up was ever required; usually a RAL code can be quoted...

phoned chicago coatings they have quoted £20 per wheel because they are 17's

As soon as the tax runs out it's up in the air wheels off and get em done

The place at Elle Port wanted £45 per rim Mike when I asked them...

Aye Bob, £15/rim is for 16" size.

And yes, you need to take the tyres off...

Even £20 a wheel is excellent value.

I guess any one selling a truck, could be well advised to spend the additional to "spruce" the sale.
