Problem with sputtering in 1993 cruiser carburated 1zf

Good afternoon. My 1993 carburated cruiser works fine at idle and rpm greater than 1600. But when I request a bit of power stepping on the gas the engine often sputters. I have changed and checked the sparkplugs all seem well. I recently had the carburetor cleaned but the problem persists. Suggestions? I am wondering if the manual fuel pump could be defective at lower rpm. Or perhaps an injector in the carb had become dirty again.
