hello

is contacting the council ROW officer the only way to tell if a orpa is legal for green laning ?

or is there another source perhaps online?

just starting to research my area and hoping to find some larger trails like peddars way but also some shorter lanes around my home near munford norfolk

ORPA, you will need to ask the Highways dept most of the time.

BOATS, you need to ask the ROW office.

If you knew of a GLASS member who lives or is knowledgeable for your area, then you could become a member yourself, you can then go on to their website for latest updates, word of warning IMHO check them out for yourself or your cruiser could well end up a meter Sq block of metal !!

ROW officer is the only roght way to do it on the day you drive the lane, best bet is get yourslef in with a crowd that do a bit of laning to get the hang of it, theres lots of sources of information out there but believe you me its all kept behind closed doors

be aware Trailwise still show lanes that have TRO's on them unless someone updates it, it relies on people registered updating and can be incorrect. Tis a good source of information though
