Rant

when i was looking for an 80 there was one come up right everthing. i mean my perfect spec and ot was blue. 45 min drive from my house. i phoned the chap said i will be right down. no nobody can see until its been valeted on the tuesday. so he said as i called first i could have it agreed price as long as in the condition he said. which i felt was to much but still everything i wanted. he phones me tuesday and said he has been offered 2k more then agreed price would i match. no chance was my reply.
turns out somebody on here who posted all the time before he brought had offered a stupid figure without seeing it. since never posted much else apart from blowing turbo and another problem. i was at wits end and posted wanted advert and got my cruiser i am over the moon with cost alot less. not the same spec but close enough.

so what i am saying is what you put out you get back some day. you just need to wait it out to see the just desertsof these tw#ts on eblag

Good luck lol.

Hope you get a genuine buyer:thumbup:

Ta Karl, it should go well. It's got fantastic documented history (all the way back to the original purchase documents) and good kit on it...you'd struggle to find better.

I'm writing up the advert for my Colorado at the moment...having to resist the urge to end with the phrase "Pisstakers will be ignored. Repeat offenders will be laughed at".
Good luck Drew - the trouble is that can sometimes spur them on - it starts out funny at first but then escalates as it goes viral/facebook links and the likes, can end up costing even more in time!

I fear I'm going to need it - not had to properly "sell" a vehicle for a long while now...it'll go up here first to test the water.

One of the joys of being in business Karl, I know what you mean about being messed about, but it seems to be the majority of people today. I rang a forum member about an item advertised at a price only to be told he had been offered a lot more so ok that was that. I was offered a Collie so I said I would buy it subject to a viewing 3 hours later no truck and no seller at the address when I went to view, no reply on phone no I spoke to her 2 hours before. All she needed was to send a txt to say " I changed my mind"n not difficult just good manners. The number of 60 owners that haven't turned up for parts is the best.Must have/ Can't get parts which I have in stock for peanuts I never hear from again once I have been out and got it off a breaker." I'll be there saturday" is a surefire way of never hearing from them again,
It happens in all businesses though, if you are a landlord boy, do you see the other side of people when they live in a house that's not theirs.
At the end of it its just consideration for others which is sadly missing these days.
Another rant to go with yours Karl!!

Andy
