Renate, I have a suitable torque wrench you can borrow. Re the puncture - I have some spare valves. - You will have to collect.
Brake light - check your earths - and swap the bulbs just to be certain.

What do you need to straighten?
Check in Yellow pages there should be several tool hire places in Bristol.
What is the brake fluid level like - if it is getting low you will get
intermittent warning on the dash light.
