+- reclining rear seats ..

just a quicky really ... are the rear seats (middle row) meant to recline at all. .. mine do.

17 years an 80 owner and I didn't know that!! mind, no one else has ever said they knew either

Take the front head rest out and recline the front seat, get a makeshift bed. Better then a leaking tent when it's pouring down lol

All 3 rows of seats recline fully according to the '97 sales brochure.

Just so you all realize and appreciate the high standard of trim in the UK spec 80s, my European spec 1995 GX has reclining front seats, but fixed backs in the middle row. They fold forward then the seat base lifts up to roll the seat forward for effective entry for passengers using the third row.

The third row do recline but of course that's limited by the back of the vehicle (about 45 degrees).
