Renates' tyre woes

Renate,
If I was in your situation, I'd keep the 15" wheels, and put bigger tyres
on.
I recall reading something along this line on the 80's forum.
On a different note, we're thinking of getting the map / dome lights
replaced with the ones from www.taskled.com
Anyone in Europe got them?
It sounds enlightened to have a floodlit cabin to work in, especially going
bush camping !

Den
I didn't think I could do this.
If I can, then I've just learnt something new!
I have two sets of lights for the cab in the desert nights, that I use
as well as the usual cab lights, both are run from the ciggi lighter,
which I never use for what it was intended for - everything else but
cigs - I've used it for digital cameras and laptops, mobile phones,
lights etc
I got the lights from an ordinary car part stockists here in the UK.
Not a specialist car part stockists at all, I just wanted something
useful and reliable, and it was within my price bracket.
Go for it, if they're good then they are worth it! When you've got
them I'll pop over and take a gander at them.

Hi Dennis,
I am also considering getting them - perhaps look into a bulk buy?
I'll contact George to see what he says.
