Looking to replace the HZJ79 fuse box near my right foot.

Any ideas or what tools to use so I can pull out the connections and the wires?

Photo would be great

Thanks

You need two small flat blade screwdrivers and and a pair of long nose pliers
Lift a tag from the fuse side which locks in the metal connection.
Some connections are across two fuses so need a second screwdriver and long nose pliers .

The doubles are fiddly but once you work it out, it's still fiddly
Might get lucky and unlock one side at a time

Once I had the screwdriver under the tag I rotated it 90 degrees then pulled out the metal connector but that's if you have a small screwdriver

I wore a head torch and reading glasses.... magnification helps a lot

Where can I get the new female connectors so I can use the blanks for accessories?

I'm guessing that if you have a spare fuse box with tails on the wires then you could use those. Thinking to buy the female connectors would be very specific to toyota and model.

Quite amazed that you remember where each connector goes back in! Well done!

I brought some connections from eBay.
I'm swapping the fuse box so it will just be 'one out, one in'.

Going to add all the extra stuff to the fusebox, CB spots etc. and repair the damage done by the previous owner.
