Tried to fit mine yesterday and after undoing retaining bolts, light units both sides would not budge.
The manual shows how they are removed, each side different to account for spare wheel clearance on O/S.
I pulled, wiggled and bumped with my palm, all with moderation and gave up
Went out this a.m. tried again with no success so went in garage and found a piece of 15mm dia. solid nylon tube off another project. I ground one end to a flat blunt chisel shape and armed with my little 'pry bar' I managed to lever to a stage where I could then do by hand.
They were very tight going back on and once aligned with clips I then had to gently bump them on.
Brilliant, (no pun intended), well worth it.
