Looking for a set of 16" rims for my cruiser i came across there guys http://www.pxwheels.com/ interested to know if anyone has used them and what they think of the idea and the cost and if its a good idea to use them?

I've had two sets of 16" wheels exchanged by them and thought they were decent enough quality. A few people on here have just found a powder coater local to them and got them to do their wheels quite a bit cheaper though.

I used them about 3 years ago and have no complaints. Very good service indeed.

But, you are left with an LC on blocks for a few days while your exchange wheels are delivered. I think i paid £250 inc postage each way, maybe £200 but i can't remember.

If you use a local place i'm sure you could do one at a time which would keep your car on the road.

My thought was to send them my 18" rims in exchange for some 16" but not sure for £240 if i could do better waiting for some to pop up on the bay?

you don't send them yours, they send you a finished set and then when your tyres have been swapped over you send your old ones back, in the box's they sent the wheels in, using their courier they supply the instructions for. They only do like for like though and if you want a different colour you have to catch them when a set of wheels have been returned before they've coated them silver ;) If you get your 18's done let me know when you send your old ones back so I can get mine done

Would the below fit my 100 as a chap on TLCOL has asked me to make him an offer for 5 of them.

I have an original set of 80 rims, in need of a refirb they are 16" 8" wide with 0 offset

No, 80 series wheels won't fit your 100 series, they are 6 stud, a different PCD and wrong offset!

Hi

I am new in the club and I try to find alloy 16" rims for my LC100.I use the site: http://www.pxwheels.com/
I send them an e-mail to [email protected] and also a reminder to answer me but no answer.

Any one knows they are still working or is the reason that I am from Romania and they do not work abroad?
I consider it is non-sense at least to answer to my e-mail.

Thank you for your answer.

Have a nice day

pxwheels don't sell wheels they only exchange their freshly powder coated wheels for yours. If you keep a look out on ebay you will find some if you're patient.
