rusty top tailgate

does anyone know what to do about this ,can you get it properly fixed or do you buy another one .If so where do you go.
I dont want to just put gaffa tape across it .THANKS NIGEY

How bad is yours? They can be fixed by a decent sheet metal worker but if its too far gone even they will struggle...

Mines just gone though in one corner when I had a poke at it in the week; I have a replacement lined up & when swapped over, I will attempt to repair my rotted one to either sell on or keep as a spare for the eventual & inevitable demise of the new one!!!

its rusty all along under the window rubber and you could press your finger through in places ,so i would say its bad

You're better off trying to get hold of a good, rust free secondhand one & having it resprayed if necessary.

I've got another spare top tailgate in the garage which is pretty good if you're interested?

A new one from Mr T is over £700
