Salisbury Plain - 20th November

Hello all,
I'm still hoping I might be able to attend this outing.
I have set aside the idea of coming with my truck for budget reasons, so I'm
looking for coming by train and attend as a passenger.
Should I ask you could host me in his truck or is it obvious that there will
be plenty passenger seat available?
What I need to know though, is if someone is coming from London and could
pick me up at the TGV station? If not I could take a train from London to
Salisbury or any large town in the area.
The other option is me taking the train to Caen then taking the ferry to
Portsmouth. Then either have someone pick me up there or take a train to
Salisbury...
I'm glad to see Dana Adams will be there, I met Dana and his wife (Gil?) in
Versailles a couple years ago and we had a great evening chatting about
cruisers and life in general.
I Hope I will make it as I'm looking forward to meet you all!!

Lio,
We should keep in touch about this option. Nearer the date I will know
if I am able to come and then we can arrange a pic up from London.

Lio,
Excellent news - I suspect that your best bet would be to get over to
London and then get a lift down - trying to then get a train from there
down towards Salisbury would be a pain.
I guess the key thing is what time you would be able to get to London
in the morning, unless you come over the night before - don't forget
that British trains are expensive!
