SD Card help needed

I have a lot of music on the 2gb SD card in my phone, if i get a larger capacity card how do i transfer all my music ?

You might be able to use an SD card reader.

Most laptop computers have a multi-card reader built in and that'll allow you to copy to disk and copy back to a bigger card.

If it's in your phone, it's probably a Micro SD card - they usually come with an adapter to enable you to use it in a "full-size" SD card slot. If you haven't got an adapter, make sure you get one, otherwise you won't be able to use it with your PC or (most) card readers.

The other option is to connect your phone directly to your PC and transfer the music from the SD card to the PC. Then swap cards and transfer the music back from the PC to the card.

Yes chas i have got the adapter but no larger capacity SD card yet, soon as I've got one I'll be giving it a go.

Is the card in your phone an SD card, which come in full size or half height, or a TF (mini SD) card?

Hi Gra, it's a mini SD card. fits in the samsung galaxy ace.
