Well.. the last more that 10years, of jumping in and out of the truck,
have taken their toll on the seats of my 80-Series. The springs are
poking me places that the SHOULDN'T be! ;)
So the last couple of months when-ever I have been for a drive I have
been thinking about what to do about getting some "new" seats..
Any of you that have changed out the seats of you 80-series ?
One of the things I have been wondering about is if the front-seats from
a 100-Series fit in an 80-Series, anyone know this?

Hi Michael,
Looking at the two I doubt that they will fit, the 100 seats are slightly
wider and the mounting ppoints are different.
You can get replacement spring and cover panels from Toyota but these are
rediculously expensive so I woulnd't bother.
Your best bet is to track down a local upholsterer and ask what they would
charge for repairing what you already have. Sourcing matching leather may
be a problem, although I have one or odd (rear and boot) seats that could
be canabalised for their leather.
