All gurus, I am aware there is a short and long valve versions of the kz te head. From an Aussie website:
Short valve piston looks like this:
And long valve piston:
But how would I know which one mine is (without taking the head off)? Is there a specific year when Toyota changed this?
Mine is a 1996 Prado with intercooler.
And I guess if long valve is used in short valve piston, it will cause damage? But not the other way round?
