Slee sliders

I'm due to take delivery of a set of Slee sliders tomorrow morning. Just
wondering if anyone else has solved the problem of getting the drivers
side front leg to clear the exhaust on a HDJ80 yet? Just wanted to check
on here before I start cutting ...
Regards,
Jon.

Jon, the sliders amongst other things caught my eye when looking at the
Slee site. May I ask - what did it cost to get them sent over here, I am
of course assuming that "over here" is GB, import tax @ 5% and VAT on
top as well ?
Thanks , Gareth Jones S.Wales '97 1-HDFT

I don't have a break down of costs yet but the total charge on top of
the price you see on the Slee site to get it to my door with all duties
paid is =A3469. That's for Sliders, transfer bash plate and a few smaller
items. Main problem is the weight and size of it all - couldn't be sent
UPS :) Had to go through a customs clearing agent or something like
that.
Not exactly cheap but I've been trying to find a fabricator I'm happy
with for so long it would have been cheaper to just order them about 6
months ago ...
Regards,
Jon.

Thanks , that's a lot of "extra" cost. Hope you're pleased with them.
Could you post a few photos prior to fitting the sliders / bash plate
and maybe one with them fitted ?
Thanks , Gareth Jones. S.Wales.

Yep, it's a lot of extra cost but I wasn't getting them any other way so
I saved my pennies till I could afford it.
I'll post pictures when I have them, might be that someone else on here
already has some.
Regards,
Jon.

Here's some pictures then - the sliders and bash plate fit fine without
any modifications. Very pleased with them, they are seriously heavy duty
and extremely well made.

Jon, thanks for posting these pictures. You're right - seriously heavy
duty and looks well made.

Lol - fortunately I work from home so I just gave myself some time off.
Still have to fit the castor correction bushes and front roll bar spacer
blocks but they'll have to wait till I get back off holiday next week.
Just had some new 35" Procomp MT's for road use yesterday as well so
I've been like a dog with two whatsits. I love it when the tax man has
to give money back to you :)
Cheers,
Jon.

So how long after getting back home after work did you get them on?
I bet you didn't even bother changing :)
