Not too funny if it's your car. But I would laugh if it fell on those lifting it.

The fact that they lifted it in the first place might make it less of a problem :wtf:

as above, not so funny if it's your car. Don't really find the wanton vandalism of someones pride and joy (which a car often is) particularly amusing.

would you find it funny if someone came and smashed up your truck?

Maybe I wasn't clear, I meant if it fell while they were lifting it.

Looks like America to me where i believe insurance is actually a good thing rather than a punitive legal legal requirement as it is here in Britain , so a phone call probably had everything put right . Reminds me of something we did years ago , must have been 8 of us all piled in to an old Austin Maxi on a pub crawl (the driver was and still is teetotal) . we came out of a pub to find someone had parked blocking his car in so we picked the car up and moved it , which in our drunken state we all thought hilarious . Then someone noticed that the car would fit perfectly lengthways between two cast iron bollards nearby and so that's where we left it , sort of rough justice for daft parking if you like . Poor bugger i would love to know how he got it out again

 Now that is funnier than standing it on end.

In high school we often used to bounce cars around a car park and hide them. With effort, two of us could move a mkI/II golf. 4 could do it with some ease. Stupid things you did as a kid....

Personal favorite of mine, and I was the butt of this one, was having the car parked close to a wall and the smart .............. took off the passenger side rear wheel off (was a rwd) and put it up on blocks......
Got into the car, started it and hit the pedal............. Cue angry and confused head.

Its a Smart car, it couldn't possible be anyones pride and joy could it?:wtf:

Similar stories, we had an engineer on site years ago, nobody liked him, he was truly obnoxious.

What joy, he had a 2CV so we teamed up and lifted it onto the (flat) roof of the materials testing laboratory. I still laugh to myself remembering him negotiating with a crane driver to hoist it down with a strap!

It didn't change his attitude, so the next time we measured up and found if we took the doors off the lab, the car fitted in - to the millimeter. When the lab doors were replaced, there was no way to get the car out. It took 4 of us to lift and hold a lab door to remove and replace it. I can't remember the outcome of that one, but it kept us amused :icon-biggrin:.

Truly, he deserved everything he got.
