We've had a few snow showers, but nothing's stayed. But it's so cold at the moment it won't melt. If we have more it will gradually accumulate
The road in the pics is not cleared at all through the winter, they leave this one to close. It's always fun to see how far you can get when it's half a meter deep!

Cheers Pete i had never heard of such a thing but on reading your response i did a web search and found this http://www.4x4responsewales.org/Membership Application Form - v5.0.pdf . I must admit i was a little shocked to see i must pay to sign up and when i mentioned it to Helen she said i must be mad to pay because the police were knocking on the door of an old fella at the end of the street 2 years ago simply because they knew he had a 10 year old Freelander !
I'm not sure what to do now , i'm happy to help out when the need arise day or night but i dont want to find myself obligated to do shifts or anything like that ?
