Hi Guys
I was wondering if a steering box from a 1995 will fit my 1992 and also will
a rad from a 1990 fit my 1992.

john, if you are worried sbout your rad, get your own re-cored. at least
then you know its right, instead of risking having to do it again in 3
months time.
steering box? i reckon so, i think there is a sensor on the later type
one, but it should be a direct bolton replacement for your own, but
again, getting your own rebuilt means you know its right,
yes, i know that this has caused you grief in the past, ie- injector
pump scenario. but i think you just got unlucky.

Hi Brian
Thanks for the reply, No my rad is perfect and hope it will remain so.
Its just I am always on the look out and when I see something I always think
well no harm in having a spare with my luck.
Mr Toy told me today my exhaust is on its last legs, which I knew anyway so
that may have to be the next thing I replace.

Hi Lubo
I have been thinking about that option a lot.
I know I can get the SS 3 inch in the UK but have to figure in ferry costs etc.
I was thinking about getting one piece at a time from Toy but with my luck I will only get one piece and the other two will need replacing and then ill kick myself for not getting the full SS version in the first place.
It always comes down to money in the end and what you get for that.

Hi John
when I got my LC I had to change the whole exhaust and as stupid as I
am I went to mr.Toy and they charged me 955.728 pounds for that.
later when I got member of the list
I found out you can 'upgrade' the Cruiser to higher levels of output
power and one of the thing is that goddamn exhaust... now I regret
bitterly I didn't knew that before...
So if you think of having the car in the future save some money and
go bigger... but what if you get fed up doing this and that and never
getting' the money back???
just thoughts.....
cheers

Hi Lubo
It's always a worry about putting too much money into the cruiser.
But the way things have gone for me with the cruiser so far it seems to happen no matter what I do or what oil i get or upgrades I get. If I was never to get any up grades at all, the cruiser would cost me money by other things going wrong just to spit me.
I have gone past the sell the cruiser and get all my money back day a long time ago.
I know Toy will supply the exhaust for about 750 euro and then charge fitting and other bits.
I can get it for roughtly the same price in the UK for a 3 inch SS but then I have to add the time, the ferry, the accomadation and having to buy the whole exhaust at once. Where as I could get it bit by bit from Toy but then I dont think I would be happy and then regret it like you do.
