Steering column motors

I have the common failure of these motors on my wagon too. I have stripped both of them done to their individual bits,cleaned and reassembled them. They worked for a week or two,then they failed one after the other again! The Lexus ls400 has the same function and I was wondering if the motors were the same and can be used on the 100 series? I know that there is a repair mod for these but it doesn't seem to last . It doesn't really bother me but it would be nice to have it working again !

If you can find out the part no, type it into Toyodiy in the "search by part number" field and it will show all cars that use that part

I've got the same problem too. I wonder is Julian could import a couple of these motors into the UK for a more permanent fix??????
