Sadly i forgot to clean it with alcohol after messing about trying to make the leather fit so the wrap is lifting ,and I can't get any more of a matching pattern so the whole lot will be done again only this time with hydrographics paint .
Gave my wood surround which had been cut quite a lot to allow selection of reverse after a body lift to a fella i know who works in fibreglass and instead of filling the hole as i asked he returned with this .
Its perfect for what i need because I have altered the gearsticks so they sit tidy with a body lift and the wrapped metal plate shown in the first pic will now be a template for the cutout . Edges will be smoothed , etch primed and wood grain hydrographics dip before clearcoating . It will be better than original .
