Found this short video today. I had one just like it, a 1974 I bought in 1980. Certainly the quickest car I ever owned and I had a 3Ltr Capri before it. Effortless performance from the big V12 with single figure MPG on the commute but I did once get 15 on a restrained run down to Santa Pod! Funny thing is, I don't speak like any of these guys.

"Fifty quid for a set of tyres" and he thought that was expensive! Those were the days. We had a series III XJ12 as a test car when I worked for an oil company (luckily), you really could see the fuel gauge move if you thrashed it, I got 9mpg routinely. Lovely car.
