whats peoples thoughts on these rusty pics..........

Pretty average for an unrestored 20 year old vehicle used on British roads - if you plan on keeping it long term then you'll really want to clean all the scale off the chassis properly to assess how bad it really is. I would expect the body will also need a fair bit of attention - looking at the blown out rust on the wheel arches I would bet there will be more nasties hiding under trim panels etc.

Has anything been flagged on the MOT history?

Yeah my gut is that the chassis is at the point where it needs saving, good clean and protect, it of love needed on the back of the arch. Chassis welding doesn't bother me, thats fairly easy. can't be arsed with the thinner bodywork though, so i'd get someone to sort that.

MOT history is very clean. the owner has had it from 6 months old.

Looks only just in time to save if your willing to put the work in and the price should reflect that .

Passenger side wheel arch/ sills needs addressed before it grows any worse, ideally before winter.

Chassis is fine, on original paint so no hidden problems.

Tailgate rust wants pinched in the butt now, it will just grow and grow and then become an eye sore.
