I've felt for a while that the cruiser was a little sluggish, so I had a look to see if the throttle body and EGR were coked up. So off with the intercooler and air intake...

and for 225,000 miles, I think it's fairly good, so I decided to hold off the strip down as the butterfly valve moved freely. Ill strip it when the weather gets better. Further inspection revealed a cable attached to the brown connector on the throttle unit was severed, by friction it looks

so with that soldered up and heat shrinked.. And a full fluid service and all filters, it's pulling like a train again. Just be aware that these wires can fray with the vibration.. I suspect it has something to do with the EGR but haven't found out yet.
