Hi Simon,
What information do you want to know?
The 105 is essentially a basic version of the 105/Amazon with a solid front axle (like the 80 series) and a basic non turbo engine.
They are a great car used around the world by NGOs, etc, however they are very pricey if you are trying to buy one privately.
I like the body style of the 105 which like the 100 series is fractionally larger inside and have considered trying to import one, but would want a better engine in it and would also struggle to find an auto.
For the amount of money you have to pay for a second hand 105 you should be able to get a reasonable 1995-1997 24valve GX 80 series and have money left over for initial baseline servicing and some additional prep work.

Hi Simon,

Essentially yes - it's an 100 series with an 80 series front axle and a
basic non turbo 4.2 diesel (or petrol engine) engine.

On the styling front it is the same basic shape as a 100, but less fancy
trim - you can see a pic of one here: http://tinyurl.com/3dpu86

Simon,

You can find more photos here: http://tinyurl.com/2uafk8

Note the steel wheels, 10 seat configuration of 3+3+4, barn doors often
with the spare wheel on the back of one of them, etc.

Sorry Jeremy :-( been reconfiguring my email so that I now get this account and the ELCO list real time on my mobile so that I can while away quiet times in the workshop keeping up with the list - not that there is much quiet time at the moment :)

Yes, moved in a couple of weeks ago. Still a lot to organise, but work comes first.
