Under bonnet heat

G'day guys
i have just bought a modified 105 series cruiser that has a solid bull bar with winch and super large bash plates underneath. The problem is the engine bay gets really hot. So hot that the front quarter panels are too hot to touch and the battery harnesses and everything else underneath is incredibly hot. Surely this cannot be good. I think the problem is that there is too much heat being produced and nowhere for it to go. Does anyone have any ideas. I have just drilled some 64mm holes in the Ali plate below the winch too try and get some more air flow. Is there anything else I could do? Have a good one.

Drill more holes in the bash plate?
Fit an aftermarket bonnet scoop/vent to get more air in and heat out? Fit another cooling fan in the engine bay might also be an option. I'm sure someone with more knowledge will be along shortly!!

I think i'd have something like this with the fins set to pull air in creating a good circulation in each front corner of the bonnet

And something like this rear facing scoop to let the heat out
