Updating your Alternator

I have always had similar problems when lamping from pickups - usually
have to have the lights either set well back from the screen or infront
of it.
It sounds like he is loving it and has definitely fallen in love with
his TLC. He has just crossed over to Mauritania and is slowly making
his way across to Mali for a festival in the new year.

Hi Martin,
I'll ask him, but I know his web time is limited so I don't think that
he will be able to get in to any lengthy dialog - all I get is
occasional postcard style emails.
If you want advice, I know that Roman is off to N. Africa (not sure
where) in the new year and I think Andy Bell is also off Mali way in
the new year and there may well be others either going or have been to
those areas.
If you want any advice just post the questions to the list and I am
sure someone will answer it.
