Hi Graham,
Looks like you had a great time, tell me though, why is she sometimes called
Miranda and sometimes Lucinda, does your LC have a split personality?

Thanks Neill
The rack is a Patriot Roofrack
http://patriotroofracks.patriothost.co.uk/
I bought it through TBR UK. Other racks are cheaper, but I fell in love
with them when I saw one on a Landrover ( Probably doubled its value..
;-) :) ). They are not as cheap as an Outback rack... but hey, I like it!!!
Best wishes
Graham.

The car reg is M 933 NDA which is where the name comes from.

The Smiths and Miranda the overlander...
Great photos! the only difference is that mine has a different roofrack set
up - and one could say, "hey that's just like mine!"
Renate
Whose white beast is seriously missing the hot African sun....
Thanks
Renate

Hi Renate
Out of curiosity, which rack have you got, and is it a 1.4m or full length?
That was the only huge decision for me... I like the capability a full
length gives, but I also like the concept of game viewing / photography
through the sun roof... :)
And yes, missing the African sun (and everything else apart from
Zimbabwe's politics).. but hopefully less than a month away from it...
Regards
Graham.

Nope, just a crusty old 60 series. Hopefully going to be scanning the small
ads soon, though.
Ideal spec for me would be 4.5 24v petrol, auto, leather etc UK spec, 8
seats, white with grey interior.
The petrol cars in the UK can go for low money and I've a cunning plan for
LPG. Plus the 24v motors are very quick...
Keeping the 60 series, though. Had it for 5 years now, never missed a beat
and carried everything from double glazing, bathroom suites, kids bikes,
towed race cars, pulled a 7 ton truck out of the mud and been off roading
too. Looking pretty rough, but it's going to get some TLC to the body and an
overhaul.
