Wanted: J80 Bonnet insulation clips

Hi, after 12 of 90467 09014. These are the clips that hold the insulation to the bonnet and presumably are designed to melt and release, hence after the original items.

@Bmonck I still have my original; there is a chap on ebay selling a bonnet that would have one Toyota Landcruiser VX80 1992-2007 Front Bonnet Unit Complete +Struts Hold-up | eBay - [Leaving Land Cruiser Club] he won't split it though, I've already asked

Many thanks for that link Agree with you though the bonnet with those rust bites is not interesting, and certainly not at that price. But the insulation looks good. cheers.

I just spoke to my local Toyota dealer and they can get them at £1.75 each plus VAT.

These don’t really come out of the bonnet without snapping.

You’ll be better off buying some same diameter fur tree type clips. Probably get an assortment box for a few quid

Yes it does seem a one time removal...! Good suggestion on the fur clips... I'd worry though that they might not be up to spec if there was an engine fire, and didn't release the insulation (or do, when it shouldn't?). Either way going OEM is a small price for peace of my overthinking mind

No problem. The felt itself was near £200 with VAT so be careful with it!!
