This "bit" is stuck on where my jack goes. Anyone know what it is?

It's the glass break detector for the alarm system

edit - The one on my truck is on the other side stuck to a control box;

Mmmm..........behind the paneling, seeing yours makes me wonder if mine is correctly installed
