What size wire?

I'm thinking of doing away with the plug in the back of the alternator that is causing my dashboard to indicate a catastrophic systems failure and simply connect each of the three wires directly using quality connectors. In order to make it a bit easier, I need to lengthen the wires. What size wire is this?
