Why is the forum blocked in Russia?

I'm just back from Russia today, and wonder why the forum is blocked in Russia?

Probably cos we’re mostly brits!
When we were there in our trucks before lockdown & recent events, we couldn’t log in to loads of uk & us websites & PayPal etc etc.
They just don’t like us!

Most likely the block is this end with Microsoft and Google etc rejecting web traffic from Russia .

If you were using Russian internet then many Western sites are blocked..... wouldn't do for people to be able to search for the true version of events themselves....

Not trying to criticise a legit question, but does that really matter on a Land Cruiser forum? Can't see that there are any reasons for blocking out any type of user (as long as they follow forum rules). Cruiserheads are generally not responsible for the actions of the leaders of the state that "own" the cruiserhead's passport.
Should we be worried that some state sponsored entity will crash our website, and therefore block certain countries? The eventual attack could just as well come from a bot net much closer to home.

Too be fair given what Russia is currently doing to innocent Ukrainians in their own country without any good reason the question is probably a fair one ?
I feel it wasn't aimed at the poster but more why "they" would want to have anything to do with the Russian State....
